Mindful Living 4-week Series with Dr. Jennifer Medina

Learn mindful living practices to decrease stress, cope with challenges more effectively, promote wellness in body and mind, & stay present in the moment. This 4-week program is appropriate for individuals experiencing medical diagnoses who are interested in using mindfulness in their everyday life to live well and in the present. This program will also be useful for individuals interested in decreasing stress, depression, or anxiety in their daily life. Mindful practices introduced will include breathing techniques, learning awareness of the body and the mind, paying attention on purpose, gratitude, and compassion. For more details click HERE.

Information is focused on the role of lifestyle factors such as diet, exercise, and sleep on brain health. The program will also provide strategies and methods to promote cognitive wellness in everyday life.


Peace of Mind: Care Planning for the Future with Amy Zeitz, LCSW

The years between retirement and end of life can be vibrant and exciting, and also full of transition and changes. This presentation, designed for adults age 65+ and family members, will discuss making plans that ensure confidence with finances, living situation, health care, and end of life decisions.


Live Each Day Mindfully with Jennifer Medina, Ph.D.

Learn mindful living practices to decrease stress, cope with challenges more effectively, promote wellness in body and mind, & stay present in the moment. Everyday practices are provided to cultivate mindfulness into your daily routine.


The Mindful Brain with Jennifer Medina, Ph.D.

Mindfulness practices have been shown to change the brain, improve emotions, and help with clearer and calmer thinking. This workshop will provide information about the effects of mindfulness practices on the brain. Attendees will leave with a deeper understanding of how to begin using mindfulness in their daily life for better neurological, emotional, and cognitive health.
